The house has backup generators, winter maintenance equipment and supplies for dealing with snow and ice around the property.
More importantly, the wedding does not depend on being outside.
If conditions are unsuitable, your ceremony and celebration can take place indoors, with the house and ballroom warm and ready for guests.
You can still use the grounds, woodland and courtyard for photographs whenever conditions allow.

Logie Country House was built in
1680, while the estate lands are recorded from
1492.
That history suits a winter wedding particularly well.
Open fires, thick stone walls, older rooms and the surrounding woodland give the house a completely different character once the evenings draw in.
The estate also includes three historic Pictish stones and views towards Bennachie.
This is a country house wedding rather than a hotel wedding, with the property privately occupied by you and your invited guests during your stay.

Hudsons can prepare a quote around the food you actually want for your wedding.

For drinks on the wedding day, you can either use the
Hudsons bar or
bring your own drinks and pay corkage.
Hudsons’ bar prices are comparable to a good pub rather than inflated hotel-style wedding bar prices.

An indoor pool and outdoor hot tubs are enjoyable throughout the year, but winter is when they really come into their own.

🐾 Winter Weddings With Your Dog
Dogs are welcome at Logie and can stay with you as part of the wedding.
They can be included in the ceremony and photographs, and there is extensive private ground for walks.
In winter, the enclosed courtyard can also be useful when you do not want to venture too far into the grounds.
Dogs simply need to be kept under proper control around the Highland cows and other livestock.
