Logie Country House was built in 1680, on estate lands recorded as far back as 1492. Set beside the River Urie in beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside, the house combines historic Scottish character with an indoor heated swimming pool, two outdoor hot tubs, a cinema room and woodland and riverside grounds with views towards Bennachie.
It is a wedding venue where the accommodation becomes part of the celebration, rather than simply somewhere to sleep afterwards.

🛏️ 18 Bedrooms, Around 50 Guests, One Wonderful Stay
Logie has 18 bedrooms across the main house and courtyard, sleeping around 50 guests. Around 15 bedrooms are ensuite, and there is wheelchair accessible accommodation off the courtyard.
That means many of your closest family and friends can stay right at the wedding venue, sharing the experience from the moment they arrive.
Guests can wake up together, enjoy breakfast, relax in the pool and hot tubs, wander through the estate and gather around the fires in the evening.
Parents, grandparents, friends and children all have time to get to know one another, and the little moments between the main celebrations often become some of the loveliest memories of the wedding.

We are currently in the process of purchasing the neighbouring Coach House, around a one-minute walk from Logie.
If our plans go ahead, the Coach House is expected to add 6 bedrooms sleeping around 12 additional guests.
We hope it may be available from around September 2027, but this is not yet confirmed.
It could be particularly useful for larger family groups, overseas guests or couples who would love to have even more of their favourite people staying together beside Logie.

📅 Choose a 2-Day or 3-Day Wedding
Logie offers two ways to enjoy a wedding that lasts longer than the wedding day itself.
A 2-day midweek wedding gives you time to arrive, settle in and celebrate together.
A 3-day weekend wedding gives you an additional relaxed day together after the wedding itself.
For couples choosing a 3-day wedding, the stay can look something like this:

You have full access to the entire house from 9.00 pm the evening before, giving everyone more time to arrive, settle in and catch up before the main wedding stay begins.
It is particularly useful when family and friends are travelling from different parts of the country or from overseas.

When you book Logie, the house and grounds are exclusively yours throughout your wedding stay.

Your wedding can be intimate, with a smaller group celebrating at Logie, or much larger, with up to 160 day guests in our purpose-built ballroom.
The ballroom is air-conditioned and soundproofed, with the bar and dance floor together in the same room — so everyone remains part of the party when the dancing gets going. 💃🕺
For ceremonies, you can choose from the courtyard, ballroom, woodland or other beautiful locations around the grounds, with the ballroom providing an excellent indoor option whatever the Scottish weather has planned.

Our experienced wedding planners know Logie inside out and will get to know what you actually want from your wedding.
