Scotland Wedding Venue
We have it all. The house burned down in 1975 and was beautifully restored in 2009. Think 1680s with heating that works and a decent fire alarm now. We have 15 bedrooms with ensuites and the other two bedrooms have a family bathroom in between them. There is one ground floor bedroom specifically designed for less mobile guests, or guests that just can’t be bothered walking up the stairs at night. We have grand reception rooms, acres of woodland and fields. Our ballroom sits in ancient woodland across the driveway from the house.
So where to get married in Scotland? We can cater for weddings up to 160 day guests and a further 20 evening guests in the ballroom or up to 50 guests in the dining room in the main house. Don’t worry, our ballroom can’t be turned into a conference centre either. We specialise in weddings only.
The price we quote is what you pay….
and we aren’t super posh or expensive either. No drip pricing and you get one of our two fantastic wedding co-ordinators included too. Our award winning caterers can cater for anything that you like. Indian, Thai, Russian, Polish, Scottish obvi, Pizzas, BBQ, the fatted calf your dad bred, grannie’s favourite recipe or anything in between. The bar prices are pub prices too, so you don’t need to send your children up the chimneys. (That’s a joke! Child chimney sweeps are banned, probably, nowadays, although back in 1680, they were probably all the rage). There are not many places to get married in Scotland like us!
Lazy? So are we! That’s why check-out is 12pm. Eager? So are we, that’s why check-in is 1pm. But…. all of your suppliers will have been in the ballroom for hours before your arrive, setting everything up for your arrival. Just imagine forgoing the joy of gazing in horror at a completely empty ballroom that will never ever be ready in time. Probably.
So you’re looking where to get married in Scotland still? Did we mention that the river Urie runs right across the front lawn? There is an island with a tree house for the kids in the middle of the river. Also a trampoline and climbing frame with swings next to the stables and a small football pitch too.
Wedding Scotland? Then we look forward to welcoming you to Logie Country House. One of the best places in Scotland to get married. You will not be disappointed.
