“What Tim and Stef have created at Logie can only be described as a masterpiece, we’re confident there is no other venue in Scotland that offers what Logie does. Our guests were in awe of the accommodation from the moment they arrived. The freshly lit fire and 2 storey high christmas tree dominating the foyer set the tone for the rest of our stay. The entire house feels like a home from home, with 4 generations of family in attendance from 1 year old to mid 80’s everyone found their spot within minutes of arriving. The children had an absolute blast exploring the building and running around freely while the parents could relax knowing they were in safe surrounds.

From the outset we knew we didn’t want the traditional wedding, preferring to go for more of a relaxing family getaway vibe and Gillian couldn’t have been more accommodating with our requests. She offered encouragement when we were unsure if our ideas would work and also putting forward suggestions to help create the wedding we had hoped for.

The house caters for everyones needs with enough little nooks for those who enjoy some quiet time while other rooms are large enough to allow groups to gather. With 12 kids in attendance the indoor pool was a massive hit, and a great excuse for the adults to have a splash too! The 2 large hot tubs were more than adequate for everyone to find warmth in the cold January air.

Hudsons catered our whole wedding day including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Having looked up Hudsons prior to our wedding we expected the food to be good and what they provided far surpassed our expectations. We received so many great comments from our guests about how good the food was and the quantities were very generous too.

Being an exclusive use venue, you truly have the place to yourselves. After a warm welcome from Tim and Stef and a quick run down of the safety information they offered their best wishes and departed leaving us to settle in and prepare for our guests arriving. On the day of the wedding Gillian had everything under control and we had very little to worry about, staff was kept to a minimum which really helped provide the homely family feel we had hoped for.

Stef approaches everything with a personal touch from the first moment of contact, she manages to make you feel more like a friend than a customer. Logie country house isn’t your typical wedding venue, it offers a unique opportunity to spend quality time with those you hold closest while hosting the wedding you desire, whatever that wedding may be”.

We had the most incredible weekend of our entire lives. It was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Thank you so much for hosting us. Logie is truly magical. The hospitality of you and Tim was absolutely incredible and Tim dealt with the fire alarm in such good humour, we really appreciated this. You have really thought of everything and as someone who previously worked in a wedding venue in Glasgow, what you do at Logie is superior to anything I’ve ever seen. The genuine passion and attention to detail that you and your staff have is second to none and attracted us to the venue within seconds of our first showing. The facilities and rooms were incredible with the advice that you gave us really helping us have the best time. We’ve joked about it but would love to do it all again if we can and if we are lucky enough to make it to 10 years, we would love to come back and have our 10 year wedding anniversary at Logie.

I’m not sure I can even begin to put into words how amazing our weekend – and our wedding day – was. Logie truly felt like home to us, our friends and family. I see photos now and am amazed that Logie played such a huge part in our lives. It seems so weird to look back at the first few emails we sent to arrange a viewing, to now having Logie as part of our story as a couple! I’m so sad we won’t be able to spend another weekend there.

The attention to detail was incredible. It got to a point where I knew I didn’t need to stress about organising or buying certain things, because I knew it would have been thought of by you guys. Everything went so smoothly on the wedding day, and that’s down to Lila and her hard work – so from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Having the opportunity to bring our family and friends together was so special. We could not have done that without you, Stef, and Tim, and all the work you’ve done to make Logie the venue it is. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I’m sure some people get married and their venue is simply somewhere to host their day, and their memories are more focused on their guests and each other…but for us Logie was as important and memorable as our guests, each other and everything else. I just can’t believe how perfect it all was.

Best wedding venue in Aberdeenshire! Staff are lovely and will do anything to make sure your wedding is as special as you always dreamed it would be. We planned to have our wedding outside but as soon as I got downstairs ready to go out to the ceremony I realised the weather was not on our side! Gillian and the team set up the indoor venue within 10 minutes, and it was perfect. Couldn’t rate them highly enough. Thank you to everyone at Logie for making it a day to remember!

Sarah and I are so grateful to have been able to have Logie House as our wedding venue and it wasn’t just an ‘amazing’ few days, it was perfect!

Sarah and I knew it was the venue for us within about 5 minutes of walking through the front door. It was everything we had hoped it would be and more. The feedback from all of our guests was exceptional. I think we’ve made a few other couples very jealous and definitely set a new standard for future weddings within our circle of friends!

Both you and Tim have been an absolute pleasure to deal with since the very first day we met. In fact, ‘deal with’ sounds far too business-like. It’s been a real pleasure to have met such a genuinely lovely people and we’ve really enjoyed your company throughout. We’ve already thanked Gillian directly but may I just say what a superstar you have there. She made such a difference on our wedding day, really helped put us at ease which set the tone for the remainder of the wedding. We love her to bits!
