Logie was built in 1680, on estate lands recorded as far back as 1492. Set beside the River Urie in Aberdeenshire, the house has 18 bedrooms sleeping around 50 guests, an indoor heated swimming pool, two outdoor hot tubs, a cinema room and a private ballroom for up to 160 day guests.
A 2-day wedding gives you time to arrive, settle in with family and friends, enjoy the house and then celebrate your wedding the following day.

Day 2 – Your Wedding Day 💍
💍 Get ready at Logie with your favourite people already around you.
💒 Hold your ceremony in the courtyard, ballroom, woodland or elsewhere around the grounds.
🥂 Enjoy drinks and photographs around the estate.
🍽️ Wedding-day catering is provided by Hudsons Catering.
🍷 Use the Hudsons bar or bring your own wedding-day drinks and pay corkage.
🎶 Eat, drink and dance in your private ballroom.
Day 3 – Check Out
Have breakfast, gather up the abandoned shoes and phone chargers and check out by 11.00 am.
🌙 Want More Time? Add the Evening Before
If you would like more time together, you can add an extra night before your normal 2-day wedding stay.
You have full access to the entire house from 9.00 pm the evening before, giving everyone more time to arrive, settle in and catch up before the main stay begins.
Adding the extra evening can also make a Tuesday wedding possible, depending on availability.

💍 Your Private Wedding Ballroom
On the wedding day, our purpose-built ballroom can accommodate up to 160 day guests.
The ballroom is air-conditioned and soundproofed, with the bar and dance floor in the same room so everyone remains part of the celebration when the dancing starts.
Outdoor music finishes at 8.00 pm, while the celebration can continue indoors in the ballroom.
For ceremonies, you can choose from the courtyard, ballroom, woodland and other locations around the grounds.

Our long-standing catering partner, Hudsons Catering, provides the wedding-day catering and will prepare a quote around exactly what you would like.
You are not tied to one fixed wedding menu. Hudsons can tailor the food around your plans, guest numbers and style of wedding.

🛏️ Keep Your Guests Together
Logie sleeps around 50 guests in 18 bedrooms, including around 15 ensuite bedrooms and wheelchair accessible accommodation.
Rather than everyone staying in separate hotels and travelling back and forth, many of your closest family and friends can stay together at Logie.
Some couples also ask guests staying in the 17 guest bedrooms to contribute towards their accommodation, helping to offset the overall wedding cost.
