Only the brides and grooms can vote in the awards. So no getting our Mums to vote a hundred times here!
It is fantastic to have received this wedding award at the beginning of 2022 because the preceding two years were so difficult, so we must be doing something right as we won again. Our thanks to everyone that booked and stuck with us in 2020 & 2021.
So what makes an award winning wedding venue? Well, we are a Scottish Country House Wedding Venue with 17 ensuite bedrooms that sleep up to 50 guests in a 1680s castle with its own purpose-built air-conditioned ballroom. You will have two nights mid-week or three nights over a weekend to share with your nearest and dearest. Check in and out is usually at noon. So no rushing about to leave. We have an indoor swimming pool and two outdoor hot tubs for you to enjoy. There are two gas BBQs available in our beautiful, enclosed courtyard.
You will get your own wedding planner included in the price of the venue. Gillian and Lila have been with us for years and have loads of experience of every type of wedding and supplier. Our brides and grooms love them. They will take away the stress of organising everything.
Award Winning Catering
You will also have our fantastic multi award winning caterers, Hudsons Catering providing you with delicious food and drink for your wedding day too. Did we mention that they won best caterers at the Top Tier Wedding Awards too? They have catered for presidents, priminister and even the queen, so you are in good company. They can provide you with whatever you want. That is to say, there are no fixed menus and Hudsons can cater to any taste. Thai, Scottish, Polish, Indian and Russian to name but a few.
