They’ll add a unique touch to your celebration that you’ve always dreamed of. If thats not enough, Ermintrudes grandparents were part of the Queens fold (herd) on the Balmoral estate! So you’ll practically have Royalty at your wedding!
Highland cows, or “Heilan coos” as they’re affectionately known in Scotland, are an iconic symbol of the Scottish Highlands. A group of Highland cows is called a fold rather than a herd. This term dates back to the old Scottish practice of keeping the cattle in stone enclosures or folds during the winter months to protect them from the elements.
