Perfection and a dream come true wedding experience

I cannot recommend this beautiful wedding setting enough. We had 50 staying guests over our few days there and 150 evening guests. The house offered everyone the most homely experience with top quality comfort and luxury. Felt like a fairytale! From the warmth of the drawing room fire place to the outdoor hot tubs and courtyard, there was something suitable for everyone, including the kids entertainment room. The ballroom venue and grounds for our ceremony and party ouzed with style and character providing the perfect party setting for us and our guests. Our wedding planner couldn’t have got it more on point. Thanks for an unbelievable wedding experience and memories we will cherish forever. Logie Country House- the perfect choice…

Perfect Wedding Weekend!!

From the start we had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Stef and Gillian who helped us with everything to have the most amazing weekend. Even though a postponement delayed our plans, Stef, Tim, Gillian and the team did everything they could to make our whole weekend perfect, and more than worth the wait. Gillian is fantastically calm, reassuring and patient, who did so much for us - helping plan our perfect weekend, and making sure we were able to enjoy ourselves. Hudsons and the catering team were amazing, both the food and staff were exceptional. The house itself has everything you could need to host the best party you can imagine, with every detail thought of already. I 100% recommend Logie to any couple looking for THE perfect venue!

Sensational!

Wow!! We have just had our wedding at Logie, we had the most incredible 3 night stay. We had no single fault with Logie, everything from the owners and planners to the facilities and surroundings was absolutely incredible! Would highly recommend to anyone! Gillian you are a superstar! Wonderful wedding venue

Just back from a mid week wedding at which I was lucky enough to be a guest (proud auntie of the bride) . This is such a great venue for a wedding , we all felt as if we were in a luxury hotel and it was all ours for 3 days. The facilities , pool , 2 hot tubs, games , walks etc made it so easy to relax and just have a great party as a group with a wonderful wedding in the middle! The catering was provided by Hudsons and all of the food provided was excellent. All of the staff we met without fail were friendly and helpful. By all accounts Steph Tim and Gillian made it very easy for the bride and groom to organise the wedding of their dreams and it really was a perfect wedding.

Wedding Weekend

Where to even begin… planning our wedding at Logie House was an absolute dream!! Stef, Tim and Gillian are so incredibly helpful and made the whole process so easy from start to finish! Sadly, our wedding was not able to go ahead on its original date in 2020, but Stef & Tim went out of there way for us to reschedule and really took the stress away, even though I’m sure it was a very stressful situation for them as well! Gillian is the wedding planner at Logie and is without a doubt the most organised person I’ve ever met! She was so unbelievably helpful throughout the planning (and replanning) process and just thought of every little detail so nothing was missed! The house itself is gorgeous and perfect for a wedding. The house is simply beautiful, as is the ballroom where we decided to hold our ceremony and the grounds where we had our photographs taken! By the end of the weekend, the house felt so much like home, we really didn’t want to leave!!

Kennedy Wedding May 2021

Absolutely 100% recommend Logie Country House as a wedding venue. Tim and Stef and all of their team are wonderful people who are so passionate about what they do. The amazing wedding planner Gillian helped us along every step of our plans. We were due to get married in May 2020 and finally got married May 2021, 4th date lucky! Tim and Stef were so kind and accommodating, giving us new dates until it finally happened! Our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect. It is such a stunning venue and all of our guests had the best time staying at the house and enjoying all of the facilities, particularly the pool and hot tubs. The staff over the whole weekend were so great and friendly. Gillian was such a big help to me because I was clueless about a lot of things but she always kept me right. I love looking back at our day and hope many other brides and grooms have their perfect wedding day at Logie just like we did. Lots of love Alex and Jamie xx P.S. the Hudsons team are fantastic and the food was AMAZING!!! I still think about the fillet of beef to this day….

We have just came home from our wedding at Logie Country House, and what can I say...it was just incredible! Stef and Tim are just the best so amazing and we’re so good with us and all our guests. We have had a few wedding dates and finally got round to having the wedding of our dreams. Gillian the wedding planner is just the best ever...she made our wedding dream become reality and made everything run so smoothly on the day. The Hudson’s team were fantastic..the food is second to non and all of our guests are still speaking about how amazing the food was. The whole team at Logie were very professional and kept within the Covid regulations, we honestly couldn’t fault a thing. The most perfect venue and the most perfect few days from beginning to end. I would a thousand percent recommend Logie to anyone and we can’t wait to go back. The whole family will be speaking about the venue as it was just the ultimate best! Couldn’t thank everyone enough!

Luxurious perfection 5*

My wife and I needed to get away for a couple of days as my wife is sick and I wanted to make this a special occasion, our 26th Wedding Anniversary. The best words to describe Logie Country House would be a little piece of magic. As soon as you enter the huge house you feel the warmth and calmness descend upon this fabulous setting. Once you have relaxed into the luxurious settings then can I suggest the indoor heated pool, hot tubs or cinema room? Log fires, giant Christmas tree opulence and luxury at every turn without making you feel as if you cant touch anything! Logie house would make an ideal Wedding Venue anytime but especially in the present time of micro weddings, either within the main house which has several function rooms, endless cosy bedrooms or extending out into the Ballroom and bar. The grounds of Logie House are magical, looking out of the bedroom windows onto the river and flood lit island provokes a sense of an age gone. Thanks to Steff and Tim for this wonderful opportunity to make my wife feel like a princess again, which she continues to mention, so we may be back soon!

The Perfect weekend wedding under current restrictions

When my best friend told me he was pulling his wedding to his beautiful wife forward to November and reducing the numbers to 20 to comply with current Scottish guidelines, I thought he was mad, then I quickly got excited with something to look forward towards during this difficult year for many. My Fiancé and I had previously been to Logie as day guests at a wedding several years before and we both recalled the excellent service, food and facilities. However this time we were treated to a full weekend at this first class venue. As best man, I had went with the groom for a quick view round the facilities a few weeks before and meeting the owners Stef and Tim was ideal as it set all the guidelines they had put in place to make everyone feel comfortable and safe for the duration but also setting the scene for a wonderful weekend ahead. When we arrived on Friday we were greeted again by both of them and this time meeting Gillian the excellent and attentive events manager along with Sarah and Rebecca from Hudson’s catering. Each and everyone one of them we’re first class all weekend, the attention to detail was tremendous, social distancing and face coverings by them at all times but overall just making everyone relaxed and ensuring a smooth service and delivery in all that they offered. The facilities really wow you, from the great rooms with super comfortable beds, to the pool and hot tub access, the relaxing red room, elegant function room and the warming giant Christmas tree that entices you on arrival. The catering from Hudson’s kept us well fed all weekend and the beef for the main course during the wedding reception was one of the best meals I’ve ever had at a function. I can’t wait to return here in future and now just need to force more of our friends to get married as I’ll certainly be recommending the staff and facilities to whoever will listen. Bravo Kev

Amazing Venue, Amazing People -Coronavirus 2020

Logie Country House is a beautiful venue. We knew straight away nothing had, or would, compare! Throughout the entire process Stef and Gillian had been so helpful in making decisions and going above and beyond to accommodate a wide range of needs, including additional support needs and international guests. Our wedding was due to take place next month, September 2020, but due to the current Coronavirus situation we have had to postpone. Even during such a difficult time for businesses, and constantly not knowing if we could move forward with our date, Logie Country House has gone above and beyond to make the decision as painless as possible. Stef and Gillian have truly confirmed that choosing Logie Country House as our venue was the best decision we've made. I have left this review ahead of our new wedding date as I have heard horror stories from brides with their venues and suppliers. If Logie Country House and its amazing staff can handle such a trying time for the industry and its client's with such grace and support, they can handle anything that comes their way on a typical wedding day!

Best weekend of our life.

We were lucky enough to get married at Logie Country House, January 2020. This was the the most amazing weekend of our life. The house is perfect for all family and friends to get together. It has everything you need to make your wedding a special weekend rather than special day. Gillian and her team were perfect and ensured everything ran smoothly on the day. Special mention to an Italian staff member that was very attentive to our (bride and groom) needs sadly we didn’t get her name. The Hudson’s catering was better than we could have hoped for. Having been to many weddings this was by the best food we have had at a wedding.

Christmas 🎄

Myself and my family stayed at the stunning Logie house for Christmas this year and We had the best time! Stef and Tim are such a lovely down to earth couple who go out of their way to make sure you have a lovely stay!the whole place to ourselves! House is huge great for nerf gun wars 😂! Very clean house and comfy beds! The indoor pool and outdoor hot tubs are a total winner day or night! Highly recommend for any kind of event! Also attended weddings here and just wow definitely a 10/10 thanx again guys 👍🏻

November wedding

We got married here in November and can’t fault it. The venue was absolutely beautiful and Stef and Gillian were so nice! Gillian was especially helpful with our constant questions and can’t thank her enough for helping us pull off an amazing day. It was great having the venue for 3 nights as we got to relax on the last day with all our closest friends and family after the hectic lead up. I spent most of my time relaxing in the hot tub under the twinkling lights or in the swimming pool. As it was winter I was worried the venue would be really cold but it wasn’t at all and was amazing having a drink with the fire roaring. Hudson’s catered for us on our wedding day and the next day for a Christmas theme dinner and the food was unbelievable . Hudson even managed to make Zurek, a Polish soup, for us which was delicious and really impressed my husband! Couldn’t recommend logie enough.

Beautiful place but a little tired

I visited this lovely Scottish castle for a wedding last month. The bride and groom had the place for a few and I was lucky to be invited to stay. I was very disappointed with the carpark as there was a few veichals requiting spaces and felt it was small and rather tired. We also got some beautiful photos taken in the back yard again I felt this was tired and rundown. I realise it is Winter however the white walls around the back arch were very dirty and in desperate need of a lick of paint. The overall wedding was beautiful and service excellent.

Brilliant Wedding Venue

Lisa and I were married at Logie Country House 2 weeks ago. Everything about the house, the people, the food, the planning and the guidance and assistance we had from Lila, Gillian and Stef was first class. The 13 bedrooms enabled family and friends to stay for what was essentially a big party with a wedding in the middle of it! The facilities were great for both young and old and we made good use of the indoor pool and the outdoor hot tubs despite it being the end of November. Catering was by Hudson's and was really good. All of our guests commented on the quality (and the quantity) of the wedding food. We also had an evening meal before the wedding and breakfast supplied by Hudson's, much appreciated any all and special thanks to Neil for his cooking and his breakfast chat. We were very well looked after by everyone involved and had the most special weekend for our autumn wedding. I cannot recommend Logie Country House highly enough, nothing bad to say, loads of good things to enjoy......

The most beautiful and amazing venue ever

We had the most fabulous weekend ever celebrating my daughter Nichola’s wedding to her now husband John legge with all our families and friends..... the venue is stunning, just perfect....everything is catered, down to the tiniest detail .....house is beautiful, rooms are fabulous.... great kitchen for a large family.....and the wedding venue simply gorgeous.... Kids loved the pool..... Lovely places to walk too.... scenery in autumn just beautiful... Staff were great too..... Would love to do it all over again 😍

The best weekend of our lives

We got married at Logie Country House this past weekend and I can honestly say that we had the best weekend of our lives, in large part down to the incredible way Logie have (a) structured the venue and most importantly (b) Gillian, Stef, Tim, Cyndi and the rest of the Logie / Hudson’s crew who make it all so slick and perfect. First the venue - Logie is somewhere you can spend a whole weekend with your family and bridal party, rather than just one day. There’s space for 35-40 people to stay over, an amazing bridal suite, a pool, hot tubs and everything else you could possibly need. You need to have a tour to get the feel for this. While the venue looks amazing, it doesn’t feel pretentious and there’s this super chilled vibe that made it feel like home for us. Secondly, the wedding itself - Gillian runs a tight ship, in a fantastic way!! In the run up, she is there to keep track of everything going on, give you tips from the major down to the minuscule (which are SO helpful) and on the day she just keeps everything running on schedule and maintains a level of calm which is much needed! The Hudsons’ staff are equally as ‘on it’ and kind and they work with you to get things sorted if there are any hiccups even when it’s not even slightly their domain. The food was incredible and there portions huge (I just felt bad that the top table were barely eating anything!!) We feel so lucky to have had Gillian and the team to keep everything running smoothly and look after us and our guests so well. We could not recommend Logie any higher as a place to have your perfect wedding weekend and also think (having looked at a number of other venues in the area) it is quite reasonably priced given everything you get! If you are in any doubt as to whether to choose Logie as your venue, just book it - you will not regret it!

Family wedding

Book this venue, talk with the planner and owner,(in our case Gillian and Stef), about your 'vision' and requirements. If it can be done it will be done. We took over the house with family and friends,a wheelchair, all ages and 3 dogs. A wonderful wedding and family 'blending' was had by all.

Perfection

My wife and I got married at Logie Country House in early September and from start to finish is was total perfection. The owners of the venue and the event manager were incredibly friendly and helpful without being overbearing and were just great. You really are given run of the house while you're there and their staff wont be around unless you need something specific, which was great as it really allowed us to settle in and be ourselves. The wedding itself was perfectly executed with all possible details accounted for, and having a dedicated event manager (who came with the booking) who's so knowledgable with the venue and the caterers made such an incredible difference and took a huge weight off my wife and I's shoulders. If you're looking for a stunning wedding venue with an incredible staff and value, look no further.

First Class

My wife and I were fortunate enough to marry at Logie Country House and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Literally the best day of our lives. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, set in beautiful grounds and with all the amenities you could ever hope for. The owners - Stef and Tim - are wonderful people and couldn't have been more welcoming and understanding. From the first time we met we felt perfectly at ease and knew this was the place we wanted to get married. Gillian - the Events Manager - is an absolute star and gave so much help and support not only on the day of our wedding but in the months leading up to it. From the outset we wanted a wedding which felt intimate and personal to us, which we could tailor exactly the way we wanted it and Logie Country House enabled us to do precisely that. We wouldn't have changed a single thing and are very grateful to Stef, Tim, Gillian and all the staff for helping us have the wedding of our dreams.

A Truly Unique Wedding Experience

My daughter and now son-in-law held their wedding ceremony & reception at Logie House in April 2019. Logie House is a fully restored Scottish mansion house with very modern facilities (indoor swimming pool, hot tubs, kitchens & bathrooms, cinema/games room) with around 15 bedrooms, set in spacious grounds with fantastic views of the surrounding hills. It is a fantastic and very unique venue for a wedding, unlike the usual ‘production line’ hotel based weddings. We had the full use of the house for 3 days (on a self-catering basis) and the large well equipped separate function room for the wedding day. What is unique about the Logie experience is that with 15 bedrooms, multiple reception rooms and a 3 day stay, both sides of the family & friends were able to get to know each other really well - something that we all valued and is usually missing in the typical 1 day wedding. The owners - Stef & Tim, and the events manager - Gillian and her team, were extremely helpful in guiding us through the months of planning and the special day itself. The food & wine from Hudsons was also first class – many guests commented on the quality, presentation and efficiency of the service & staff i.e. ‘the best wedding meal I’ve had, and I have had many !’. Although the house is hired on a self-catering basis you can have all meals catered for by Hudson’s. We chose a pre wedding family buffet meal on the Friday and had a chef & server for a post wedding BBQ on the Sunday. They are very flexible. The only thing we would have changed is the weather (a bit chilly), but being in Scotland that is not predictable or within anyone’s control ! If you are looking for a memorable and unique wedding experience I suggest you go and have a look at Logie Country House – you won’t regret it.

100% Amazing

Aimee and I had our wedding here on 2nd March and it was absolutely fantastic. We couldn’t fault Logie one little bit. Everything we could ever have asked for was catered for and what a wonderful venue for our guests to enjoy and for the photos of our special day. Gillian our events manager was brilliant from booking to the day. She is responsive on emails etc, attentive and ensured our day went off without a hitch. We couldn’t recommend Logie Country House enough to house your special day.

Knowledgeable, dependable and responsive

Gillian, Steph and the whole team at Logie House are the most knowledgeable, dependable, responsive, and accommodating professionals I've come across in the business. Can't find a florist, want to hire in a piano, weird food request? Need some inspiration of ideas you'll love but haven't even though of existing? No problem to these gals, it is done without hesitation imeadiatly down to the smallest detail. 100/10 would recommend working with Logie House!!!!!!
